Kneeshe Parkinson, a distinguished speaker at the International Stigma Conference in 2018 at Harvard University, has been featured in several prominent publications. Recognized for her impactful work, Kneeshe has been highlighted in TheBody.com, HIV Plus Magazine, and GNP+. She is celebrated for her advocacy and community engagement in outlets such as ICW North America, Washington University’s Public Health department, STLPR, and CanvasRebel. Recently, she was featured in a POZ magazine article in June 2023, underscoring her continued influence and dedication to empowering individuals living positively.

Based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, Kneeshe Parkinson has received numerous awards and recognitions. In August 2023, she was a Thera Thursdays Awardee. She earned the 2023 Nonprofit Leadership Award from “Sisters Leaders” and the Small Business Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Award from The Millionheriss Club. Kneeshe also received the 2023 Presidential Award from TMHC and was inducted as an Heiress Sister in 2021. Additionally, she has been recognized as a BWWG ViiV curator, ISC Vice Chair for Global, ICWNA Co-Chair, and more.

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), a social change organization, is dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists.

The Black Women’s Working Group to Reframe Risk (BWWG) is a committee of Black women living with and working in the field of HIV. ViiV Healthcare convened the group to challenge existing HIV prevention approaches and develop new recommendations for communicating with Black women about HIV.
